Blame it on Dora
Joseph has insisted that he take a backpack to the sitter's now:
Blame it on Katie and Dora the Explorer, Katie who "plays" Dora with Joseph, in which they go around the house on an adventure just like Dora, which means you have to have your backpack.

My two year old daughter's a little Dora fanatic, too. We've had these dialogues involving reciting of characters from the show.
"Dora." "Boots." "Tico." "Benny." etc. Needless to say, we're loading up on DtE DVDs and gear. Her favorite episode? "Super Map." She'll walk around saying that at random intervals. Most recent purchase: A Dora pillowcase. It will not be the last.

"I'm the map, I'm the map, I'm the map, I'm the map, I'm the MAP"...please make it stop...

Great picture! He looks like a regular little boy (not a baby). Whew! Time flies...

Every time I see a picture of Joseph I think, does Amy know about Montessori education? Does she know about the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd? Both are wonderful--the joy of my life. I could share more, if you are not already informed...

Oh yes...unfortunately, the Montessori school here is way on the other side of town. We have a couple of books on catechesis of the Good Shepherd as well.
