Chicago was a little closer to Fort Wayne. If it were, we'd come more often than twice a year...because I really dig Chicago.
(Of course, it might not even take any miracles of geography for that to happen. If there were actually a decent, straight-line highway from the Fort to Chicago, it would probably cut about an hour off the trip right there. Oh, and if there were high-speed rail service....but don't get me started on that.)
In the five hours we had this afternoon, I resolved we would not do the same things we've done before (Field, Aquarium, Science and Industry, Art Institute - although I wanted to squeeze a little time in there, to tell the truth. And we've outgrown the American Girl store, I believe, so we can cross that one off.). Oh, we need to go back to all those places, but today - different!
