Fr. Phil Bloom needs you!
I am searching for a new principal and believe that some reader of your blog might be interested - or know someone who is. As our ad (below) indicates, we want someone who will faithfully and energetically promote Catholic teaching. We are in a beautiful, but poor, area of Seattle and serve a population which is highly Hispanic with significant Vietnamese and Filipino membership. As our school website (http://holyfamilyschool.vista.com/) states: “more than 72 percent of our student body are children of many colors.” Anyone seeking more information could email (frbloom@holyfamilyparish.net) or call me: 206-767-6220.
Holy Family Parish in Seattle, WA. seeks a school Principal who is a strong Catholic leader, is certified and has teaching experience. We are a multicultural parish, devoted to the Magisterium of the Church, with Grades Pre-K-8 and 235 enrolled students. Applications must be submitted by June 14 via the archdiocesan Catholic schools website, www.seattlearch.org and a letter of interest with resume mailed to James Donohue, c/o Holy Family Parish, 9622 20th Avenue SW, Seattle, WA 98106

Now here's a use for St. Blog's!

Fr. Bloom has an excellent website at http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/2964/.
Finding that website and reading his homilies and correspondance was a major factor in my reversion to the Church several years ago, deo gratias.
