Too bad there's no picture. If the Monastery is the same place I think it is, you can view it off whatever insterstate takes you from Cincinnati to St. Louis. It sits alone on a distant hill and is quite beautiful.

Two small corrections: it is the Archabbey Church, not a Cathedral, and its the Blessed Sacrament Chapel that hides behind the organ pipes, not the Blessed Chapel Room. ;)

If anyone has the chance to get to Ferdiand to see the Sisters of St. Benedict it will be a treat. Ferdiand is just off Interstate 64 and the exit to Ferdinand is pretty much where town starts. I had the luck to go to the Sisters wonderful Boarding School before it closed. If you want to see "The Castle on the Hill" I would advise going to the Sisters web site, WWW.thedome.org
