Speaking of music...
The 10:30 Mass at St. Peter's this morning was Mozart's Coronation Mass - Cardinal Christoph Schönborn celebrated. I thought I read somewhere that the Pope would deliver a short address at the end of Mass, but I'm not sure if that happened or not.
(He will definitely be saying something on Wednesday, when he visits the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia. More information on the Accademia here.)

Just found this post. Cardinal Schonborn has some affinity for Mozart's Coronation Mass, so I am not surprised he celebrated the Mass.
In his book of Sunday Gospel reflections, My Jesus, he has one dedicated to the Coronation Mass: "Mozart and the Lamb" for the Second Sunday in Ordinary Time.
He begins with:
"One of W.A. Mozart's most beautiful and moving musical pieces is the 'Agnus Dei' from the Coronation Mass.
"Many years ago, when Herbert von Karajan directed the Coronation Mass in Saint Peter's Cathedral in Rome, tears ran down his face during this piece. Why exactly did Mozart compose the 'Agnus Dei' [...] with such particular depth and fervor?"
He goes on to tie the music to the meaning of the Agnus Dei and St. John the Baptist's proclamation (Jn. 1.29-34).
Cardinal Schonborn closes with:
"What that really means we will never understand with our brains alone, but our hearts sense it. Mozart understaood it with his heart, and in his blessed music he expressed how comforting this certainty about the victorious Lamb of God is."
A great read and perhaps, I might say, an even better experience when listening to the piece of music.
In Christ,
