This man at the heart of a Walker Percy story?

Well maybe he'll be a decent Will Barrett - Bill Paxton has a vague emptiness at the core of his screen presence that just might work - he's been tapped to star in a film adaptation of Walker Percy's The Second Coming

The novel is being adapted and directed by Donal Logue, whom I mainly know from his amiable turn in a film I rather liked, The Tao of Steve - he's also starred in a sitcom and done other acting work.

Well, I'm guessing it's a labor of love since I'm fairly sure there's not a big demand for Walker Percy adaptations from the studio end of things...we'll see.
